The Paypal Giving Fund is a charity that forwards donations to Australian Registered Charities and ensures that all donations are received fee free.
Your donation is still tax deductible but your tax invoice will come directly from the Paypal Giving Fund and not ALK Positive Australia Inc.
Due to the nature of the Paypal giving fund, we will not see the details of donations for up to 30 days. As soon as we receive the statement from Paypal giving fund we can then acknowledge and thank you for your generous donation.

Where do the donations go?
The funds raised by ALK Positive Australia Inc. go to supporting high-impact research that improves ALK positive patient outcomes and has the potential to transform ALK positive cancer into a chronic (and maybe someday curable) condition. We support research trials to evaluate new medications, drug combinations and detection techniques that can improve the life expectancy of ALK positive cancer patients in Australia.
We partner with organisations such as, ALK Positive Inc, TOGA (Thoracic Oncology Group Australasia), IASLC (International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer) and other reputable bodies to ensure that any funding we provide to research trials are of a high standard.
Our members donate their time and resources to ensure that our donations go directly to research and not administration costs.
As we develop as a charity we will continue to post what research we have supported with the funds we have raised.
Our initial aim was to raise funds for the DYNAMALK trial which is now a fully funded trial and run through TOGA. In layperson terms DYNAMALK has bought Australian ALK positive Lung Cancer patients the same level of care as other countries by using advanced biomarker technology via this trial. Our latest fundraising efforts have hit a new milestone. We are excited to announce our latest co-funded $50000 Medical Research Grant with our partner TOGA (Thoracic Oncology Group Australasia) . The ALK Positive Australia and TOGA Inspirational Research Grant for ALK+ NSCLC aims to empower researchers with the resources they need to make a real difference in the lives of Australian people battling ALK+ NSCLC.
